Purposes

TWIST LGC is designed for the protection against induced surge voltages (lightning guard). This device can be used with coaxial cable to protect the video equipment from the high-voltage pulse surges in the line caused by electrostatic charge, lightning discharges, strong electromagnetic fields, high-voltage pulse laying. The device requires signal grounding to work correctly.

Installation and maintenance

The device connects to the coaxial line gap, next to the device to be protected. Direction of connection is important and you can read it on the device body (Cable - to the coaxial line, Device - to the protected device). To protect the source (eg. camera) and receiver (eg, video server) you must use two guards.
Grounding terminal requires a connection to the contour of the ground. Otherwise, the equipment protection is not guaranteed!
